A creamy, homemade chocolate ice cream made with simple ingredients, perfect for any occasion. No ice cream maker is required.

 


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream (whipping cream)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the condensed milk and heavy cream. Beat with an electric mixer until light and slightly foamy.
  • Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until fully incorporated with no lumps.
  • Pour the mixture into an airtight container or a freezer-safe mold. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  • Freeze for 4-6 hours or until firm.
  • Let the ice cream rest at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for easier scooping.

Notes

  • For added texture, include chocolate chips, nuts, or cookie crumbs.
  • Cover the container well to avoid ice crystals.
  • Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
